Customer Reviews

I sent this email to (Info@rhinolion.co.za on the 2nd of April) To Whom it may concern. I booked to go on a two-hour game drive at 15h00 on Saturday 30 March and a one hour cat drive on the 31st, as a treat for my wife on our 50th wedding anniversary. I was so disgusted on the game drive on the 30th, that we never bothered going on the cat drive the Sunday, We could not hear the lady guide when she was trying to address us without a microphone because of the noise on the truck. There was drinking of alcohol on the truck that was spilled all over the seats and floor. We spent one and a quarter hour in the cat enclosure, not allowing any time to see the Rhino's as we were rushed to get to the drop off point so the next group could be loaded. "Very Disappointed". We were unable to see the animals as the passengers were allowed to stand up, blocking site to the animals. I will most definitely not recommend these unpleasant "game" drives should I be asked. FIRST AND LAST, NEVER AGAIN. - Mike

Our guide was knowledgeable and it really made the drive interesting and educational. The enclosures were a good size for the animals (always good to see the animals are well looked after) and our guide managed to ensure we saw everything we expected to see on the drive. We had lunch at the Thatch Cafe before our drive and tea and coffee afterwards. The food was good, the drive was good - it was everything we had hoped for. We had a guest with us from the UK and it was all around a great day out! - Lauren

Bongani was amazing, full of knowledge and lovely to talk too. He took us all around and tried to help us see the rhinos. We didn't find fine them but he took us 4x4'ing to find them. This was all after the predator feeding which was spectacular and finally we got to see the brown lions. - Christopher

Went on a drive on 2024-01-10 13:00 with family visiting us from Greece. Our guide was Darrel, and we had thoroughly amazing trip with him! As a South African who has been to parks, I was as impressed as our guests, because Darrel gave us a lot of fun and informative info on the animals we saw in this park. It was a great experience being so close to the wildlife for all of us, and the information made it an even more fun experience. The animals looked to be in excellent health and the park is clearly well managed and maintained for their benefit. Thank you to Darrel and the park for making a great memory for our guests! - Yannis

Fantastic. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. Would definitely recommend. - Handre
